In this unique workshop you will learn how to capture amazing photos of the flowers and beautiful, colourful surrounds of Sussex Prairies Wild.
Bring your picnic lunch and prepare to immerse yourselves in nature. You will come close to the flowers, the plants and scents of nature that will help you detach from your daily worries.
At the end of the day, you will go home feeling mentally relaxed and creatively content!

Aim
How many times have you wished you knew how to use your mobile phone camera better?
No need to worry any more because this workshop will give you the confidence and the skills you need to capture better photographs to be happy with!
I will introduce you to the basic photographic composition rules along with the main functions of your phone camera and some basic editing techniques.
It will be taught on an iPhone. However, both iPhone users as well as Android smartphone users are welcome with any models of phones.

Play Time - theory into practice- Part I
You will be taking photographs using your smartphone. You can work on specific themes I will be giving you or you can choose to shoot freely. I will be guiding you along the way and giving you individual attention and practical tips on how to achieve your desired results.

Play Time - theory into practice- Part II

Editing time
You will be editing some of the photographs you took during your practice. You will need to download the ‘Snapseed’ app before you come to the workshop. I will be demonstrating some basic editing techniques using Snapseed which you will apply in your photographs as a way to experiment and play.

Feedback
We will be looking at each other’s photographs, commenting on them in a non-judgemental environment, suggesting new ideas, and reflecting on the making process.

Summing up on the workshop themes, leaving your workshop feedback, and suggesting ideas for further workshops based on your needs.

At the end of the workshop, I will be sending you e-handouts by email.
