Objectives

 

At the end of the workshop you will be able to:


- demonstrate a critical understanding and practical engagement with the basic principles of portrait lighting


- demonstrate a practical understanding of how an external lightmetre works and how to use it to measure the light


- demonstrate a practical understanding of the inverse square law


- demonstrate a practical understanding of setting up studio lights and working with the Rembrandt Lighting set-up

Camera guidelines & Restrictions

To attend this workshop you need to have:

- a DSLR or Mirrorless camera with a hotshoe

- an external flash unit compatible with your camera

- if the course is cancelled but a new date is scheduled
